Tyson Ritter
Tyson Ritter is the lead vocalist and bassist of The All-American Rejects, having co-founded the band in 1999. Ritter has been a constant member since the band’s inception and has played on all of their albums. His dynamic presence and distinctive voice have been key to the band’s sound and success. Outside of the band, Ritter has ventured into acting, appearing in films and television series such as “The House Bunny” and “Preacher.” His contribution to the band’s music and lyrics has been significant, crafting the emotive and often introspective lyrics that have resonated with a broad audience.
Nick Wheeler
Nick Wheeler, the band’s lead guitarist and backing vocalist, is another co-founder who has been with The All-American Rejects since 1999. Wheeler has played on all the band’s albums and is responsible for much of the band’s music composition, working closely with Ritter on songwriting. His guitar work has defined much of the band’s sound, from energetic power chords to intricate riffs that complement the band’s style. Beyond his work with the band, Wheeler has engaged in music production, helping produce tracks for other artists and exploring different musical styles.
Mike Kennerty
Mike Kennerty joined The All-American Rejects in 2002 as a rhythm guitarist and backing vocalist, just in time to participate in their self-titled debut album. Since then, he has been a part of all subsequent albums and is known for his solid rhythm guitar work that supports the band’s rock sound. Kennerty also takes part in songwriting and production aspects for the band. Outside of The All-American Rejects, Kennerty has produced music for other bands and runs a small record label, showing his deep involvement in various facets of the music industry.
Chris Gaylor
Chris Gaylor became the drummer for The All-American Rejects in 2002, replacing the original drummer. His first work with the band was on their debut album, and he has remained the band’s drummer through all their subsequent releases. Gaylor’s drumming is noted for its precision and energy, providing the driving force behind many of the band’s most dynamic tracks. Outside of his work with The All-American Rejects, Gaylor has involved himself in other music projects and sessions, showcasing his versatility as a drummer.
Tim Campbell
Tim Campbell was the original drummer when the band formed in 1999 but left shortly after recording the demo that led to the band’s signing with a record label. His tenure with the band was brief, and he did not participate in any of their major label releases, moving on to other musical endeavors shortly after his departure.
The All-American Rejects have seen relatively few changes in their lineup compared to many bands with a long history, maintaining a stable core that has helped sustain their distinctive sound and musical cohesion over the decades
