Blondie was formed in New York City in 1974 by singer Debbie Harry and guitarist Chris Stein. Debbie Harry

Clem Burke
Clem Burke joined Blondie in 1975 as the drummer, becoming known for his dynamic and energetic playing style that helped define the band’s sound. Burke played on all of Blondie’s albums from their debut through The Hunter, and after the band’s reformation, he rejoined and has remained a constant presence. His drumming can be heard on iconic tracks like “Atomic” and “Dreaming.” Outside of Blondie, Burke has played with numerous other artists, including Eurythmics, Iggy Pop, and The Romantics, showcasing his versatility as a drummer.
